What Does SkinTyte Feel Like?

You feel a sensation of gentle, warm, and rapid pulses while you are being treated. Any pain that may occur is minor and goes away quickly. Your provider may choose to use numbing cream on extra sensitive areas of your skin.

When Will I See SkinTyte Laser Results?

Skintyte is a non-invasive infrared light treatment by Sciton that heats deep layers of skin to tighten tissue and stimulate collagen. It’s used to firm loose skin on the face, neck, arms and abdomen.
No. Skintyte has no downtime. You may notice mild redness for a short time, and you can return to normal activities right away.
Most patients need a series of three to five treatments spaced about four weeks apart. Results build gradually over several months.
Skintyte is a no-downtime option for mild laxity and maintenance. RF microneedling, such as Genius or Profound, works deeper for more noticeable tightening but has a few days of recovery. Dr. Cronin can recommend the best option for your skin.
Skintyte is ideal for adults with mild to moderate skin laxity who want firmer skin without downtime or needles. It’s also a good maintenance treatment after RF microneedling or other tightening procedures. Patients with significant sagging may need a stronger option.
